For Windows combo is: ctrl + shift + alt + up. then for Linux is same just add win key: ctrl + shift + win + alt + up. I noticed that in a few combos now. Say ctrl + alt + L locks Linux, but ctrl + win + alt + L for Intellij formats code. Under Windows is just ctrl + alt + L to format the code.
Hi BS. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you. I'm assuming you have set ctrl alt del to sign in.
1. Windows Updates. 2. Use another Keyboard. 3. Try other combinations. ctrl + a etc, Those are working . I have searched online for solutions: 1. re-register oleacc.dll file. 2. sfc /scannow . The first option did nothing. The second option after restarting the system did work for a couple of minutes but than the issue reappears.
Yeah, it previously worked, and in the morning when I booted my pc up and wanted to send a mate a link with ctrl v, it just wouldn't work. Every where other way of pasting that I know works (shift insert, right click paste) its literally just the Ctrl v that doesn't. Ctrl C works because I could use that to copy and right click paste to paste
The CTRL + C and CTRL + BREAK key combinations receive special handling by console processes. By default, when a console window has the keyboard focus, CTRL + C or CTRL + BREAK is treated as a signal (SIGINT or SIGBREAK) and not as keyboard input. By default, these signals are passed to all console processes that are attached to the console. Other signals such as CTRL+Z or tmux bindings to change the pane scope (to work on other pane or kill the running window also does not get accepted while the printing is happening. Expected behavior. I expected the CTRL+C to stop the application running the printing. And regain control of the terminal. Actual behavior

If the CTRL + C shortcut keys are not functioning properly, it is likely that the CTRL + V aren’t working either. This is because if nothing gets copied to the clipboard, then nothing will be pasted. There are several reasons why the CTRL + C shortcut keys are not copying anything: Hardware problem with the keyboard.

Once installed, open it and go to Settings > Security tab > enable all options under "Scan options." After that, close the Settings and click on Scan button to start scanning. Quarantine the detected threats, if any, then restart your computer and run a scan again until no more detected threats.

If so, check if it uses FN for the function keys to work. So it should be Ctrl + Windows key + FN + F4. If it still doesn't work, you can use a PowerShell script to close all virtual desktops. I found this script on another forum before but it came from the Microsoft code sample site but is now deleted. 1.
